Understand marketplace fees

Marketplace fees reduce the amount you keep after a sale. They can include a percentage, a fixed amount or payment-processing costs.

Why fees matter

Suppose a card sells for €50:

Sale price              €50.00
Marketplace fees       - €6.50
Purchase price         - €20.00
Estimated profit         €23.50

The exact fee depends on the marketplace, seller country, category, subscription and payment method.

Review fee settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Fees.
3. Review each connected marketplace.
4. Enter the rates that apply to your seller account.
5. Save the settings.

Use the current rates from your own marketplace account. Example percentages from other sellers may not apply to you.

Include a safety margin

Fees are not the only cost. Consider:

• packaging;
• shipping you pay;
• promoted listing costs;
• payment charges;
• taxes;
• returns and damaged shipments.

Use a minimum price in your pricing rules so low-value cards do not become unprofitable.
