# Inventory

Keep an accurate record of every card you own and where it is stored.

> Documentation index: https://tcgstats.com/docs/llms.txt

Your TCG STATS inventory represents the cards you physically own. Listings and marketplace quantities are based on this inventory.

## What each inventory item records

An inventory item can include:

- card and variation;
- condition and language;
- total and available quantity;
- purchase price and source;
- storage location;
- images;
- connected listings;
- pricing information.

## Ways to add inventory

Choose the method that fits your stock:

- add cards manually for a small number of cards;
- use [CSV import](/docs/inventory/import-csv) for a spreadsheet;
- use the [camera scanner](/docs/inventory/camera-scanner) from a phone;
- use [Auto Scan](/docs/inventory/auto-scan) for larger scanner batches.

## Keep the count trustworthy

Only enter cards that are physically present. When a card moves, sells or changes condition, update the inventory so every marketplace receives the correct quantity.

> If the physical box and TCG STATS show different quantities, pause new listings and correct the inventory first.
